New blinder system

I frequently travel back to my home in Nebraska so a set of blinders would be nice. I currently run a escort x50 red on my 2012 VW Jetta SE. Im looking to get a set of blinder hp-905 but just have a few questions. Just wanted to know if I could use two heads up front and one in the back? Also just wanted to know if the blinder CPU could be updated before I take it to get installed? Also does anyone have any good ideas where to put the CPU in a jetta.

One head will give minimal protection on the rear. My thought has always been some protection is better then none but many will disagree with that but with the testing from overpasses and on ramps of highways it has always worked well for me. That is pretty much the only types of rear shots in my area. Any questions just drop me an email.
