    Default My new car.

I got this a couple of weeks ago. Love it. 500hp feels so good. A type of therapy I guess. Stock it has 400hp. But of course I had to up the ante a little. I think everyone does that around here. I was talking to a guy who has a few mods on his 300c SRT-8. As if it wasn't fast enough...

I've been long over due for this car. I figure with this car will keep me out of trouble. Over taking takes less effort and time. The ECU programming up the top speed ( eletronically limited ) from 155 to 170mph. It gets there very quick. Which allows me to there and back quicker. The funny thing is that I'm totally fine driving this car slow. I guess its just knowing how much power is on tap.

Nice Jag, and nice pics! I can see your X50 in the windshield.

Are you going to put a laser jammer on it?
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?

ECU Upgrade, s/c underdrive pulley, exhaust work. Huge dif. Not like it was slow before. But its a major improvement in both torque and hp.

I haven't driven a R, but I have worked on/driven a v6 and regular v8 s type. Nice cars. Only bad thing I can say about them is that ones I've seen had some sorta leak. The v6 had an oil leak and the v8 had a coolant leak. Not a big deal if you have a warranty or a little knowledge of how to work on cars. Overall, their reliability shouldn't be bad. And they handled great for their weight. I was quite impressed. I take many of the nicer/sportier cars we get in the shop for a quick test drive and the s type (even with bad tires) was one of the few that didn't squeal tires when taking a corner at a moderate speed. Traction control did come on from a stop light once though. Rode great too considering the wore out tires, two bent wheels, and ~120k miles.
