Out of curiosity, what are they rated at stock?

Good dyno numbers, that's some nice torque figure.

Mind anyone whom reads that: Those (240/280)numbers are off the engine, not to the wheels.

i test drove one last week a 01 grand prix GTP and holy %^* they can haul. Though it was a blast, reality sank in and i relized my gas bill would beat me and the insurance company would love the vacation they could take after i paid them.

Gas isn't bad, should average around 22 MPG. Insurance, ah good question. Probably cheaper than a Civic tho!

Yeah 240hp/280tq is stock at the crank...on the dyno most ive seen have done ~190hp and ~220tq. There is about a 20% loss due too FWD and auto tranny. They are really nice cars, I love it and would still not trade it for anything else (reasonable )

Gas mileage is pretty good stock but if your like me and you mod it up and are into the boost on every onramp than your looking at about 400km to a tank

If your considering a Grand Prix I STRONGLY RECOMMEND getting a GTP as everyone ive talked to (probably about 20 people) who bought the SE or GT regretted it and either sold it for a GTP or swapped motors like I have.
