Default Just got my copy of Faszination

My DVD "Faszination" arrived and it is awesome. Watching the Stefan Rosser loop on the Nurburgring in full quality is amazing.

For those who don't know. Faszination is the Porsche 911 tuner Ruf's corporate promo DVD. It's got a history of the factory and some highlights of the new Ruf production supercar. It also has the 1987 hightlight video of Stefan Rosser laping the "ring" in the sickest way possible if not the fastest.

Holy crap I want that DVD, is it free?

Also, the '87 "Yellow Bird" is a godly car. R&T still tests it against modern supercars And ohhhhh how I love the air-cooled flat-six sound. I love it so very much.

I've been driving the "Yellow Bird" this afternoon at Nurburgring on my Xbox360. Car handles like crap compared to the new Yellowbird Ruf 911.

Nah, you just drive like crap

Seriously, 469 horsepower, engine behind the rear axle, no traction or stability control...that would not be an easy car to drive at Nurburgring.

Man no joke. It bieng a video game set aside. I can break 8 minutes easy in the 05 911 Ruf but the Yellowbird's braking is so soggy and the turn in so twitchy I run off the track most of the time. I've got GTR set on no damage but most of my hits would kill the real car.

Best time is 7:51 in the McLaren F1.

If I could have any car in the world, that would be it. I don't care how much faster the newest supercars are, it's just always going to be my favorite no matter what.

I just got this month's issue of Road & Track. On the cover is a Carrera GT-based yellow Gemballa Mirage GT and a silver 997-based Ruf CTR3
