    Default Nitrous - NOS - N (little 2) O

Funny cartoon in Car Craft Magazine page 68 October issue about Nitrous.

When ever anyone uses NOS to beat me, I always say.........eventually I will win. Because u will run out of juice.......
So how many runs does a bottle of juice give typically? anyone know?

Any way back to the cartoon.............guys go to track and using NOS have an awsome run..........then yikes no more Juice.......for the eliminations........What will we do..............LOL

If that is a serious question, it depends on the size of the nitrous tank and the shot.

For instance an 100 shot will go through a small tank quickly, while a 50 shot and a large bottle will last quite a while.

Every track I've ever ran at has a nitrous refilling station right there, if your stupid enough not to refill for your nitrous after several runs, you deserve to lose. That is like running out of gas in Autocross.

Nitrous is obviously the easiest way to get big horsepower, and one of the least stressful for the engine (contrary to popular belief).

My brother with the 2001 Cobra had a about 3 Mustang SVOs......he kept wrapping them around telephone poles.......

I was quite impressed driving that car.......a little 4 cylinder, when that Turbo spooled up..........It kicked u good. And that car handled well for the day. He still has the last one as a project car. Its an 86 0r 87 the last year they made them.

I love Nitrous and I think you should put it on your SS as well.

I,am going to be puttng in nitrous on my cadillac soon and I can't wait to see how much faster I can make her.

A turbo is also in the works for my ride.

Your car runs on solar power? Wow.

Well the size of the jets you decide to use and the displacement of your car will really decide.

I think I can safely assume you have a Camaro SS, and a very rough ballpark estimate, assuming you use nitrous in first gear (out of the hole) and have a good size bottle, with the use of a 100 shot, is 6-8 runs.
