Never heard of the Holden either, but my limited knowledge is to the US, Southwest Asia, and some Korea. The big 06 GTO has the 6 Liter engine as opposed to the previous year's 5.7, and previous to that, the WS6 - which had it's guts put in the GTO - but that would be in line with last year's models. Saw an 06 GTO the other day, it was pretty sweet, very respectable, but on the looks side I think it looks too similar to a lot of GM cars. Grand Prix, Grand AM, Lumina, Catera, Impala, Monte Carlo, etc. Pontiac used to do a good job of really distinguishing their bodies from their GM cousins, but that seems to be getting lost in translation or something.

They do a lot of mixing of these types of cars overseas (overseas from me that is) from what I've seen. While I was in Kuwait, a friend of mine had a Chevrolet LTZ, which bore a striking resemblence in looks and power to the Catera. Not to mention actually seeing Honda Integras. ;-)

But it looks like you have a very nice ride, and I'm sure you'll get lots of enjoyment and gas bills out of it! ;-)
