2010 Ford taurus radar false on wheels?

2010 Taurus is loaded with Adaptive cruise control and a radar based blind spot feature So now a Laser alert then K band ?

I think I've some of these on cars before. Sometimes its a very weak signal and others it goes up to 6/8 leds then dies suddenly.

I have my k band disabled, so i dont think it should affect me hopefully.

I would hope that it is an off band if it's K-band frequency, something popular in europe (k euro maybe). Why don't they use Ku band for radar cruise systems here? it is efficient and will not bother RD users.

This is a feature that lexus and infiniti has had for years and ford is touting it like it is something new. Plus it will be an option on the taurus that IMO few people will opt for.
