Darn even your feet are slow, I've turned high 50's low 60's with my feet for a 1/4 mile.

im a fat computer nerd driven by donuts.... i was just guessing..... i can run a mile in about 9-10 mins, so i was just guessing 1/4 of that mile to be about 2-3 mins....

2005 CTSV 400 hp/395 ft lb. Never ran it but they do mid 13's in the quarter. Has a top speed north of 160 mph...

i have a camm'd and stalled z28 that runs an 11.67 int eh quarter mile. anyone on here daily drive a car faster than that

Well my ride is still in progress, I picked up a twin turbo system a few months ago but it's just sitting in the garage until I can build the stroker motor. I'll be stroking it to a 6.4 litre (392) with low compression (9:1) so i can run the turbo with 15+lbs of boost. Expecting north 650 to the wheels which isn't too crazy in such a heavy ride.

I have a 2008 Silverado 5.3L. Here are the mods:

I still have to get it cammed out and a couple more modifications, and there are also some more modifications that are not listed on here. I also have the "usual" high flow injectors, high flow power distributor, high flow cables, 3 Optima yellow top batteries (9k watt sound system, plus, most people underestimate the importance of their electrical system), the Big 3 upgrade, high output alternator, Banks transmission cooler, and Nitto tires. I'm also riding in 24" rims. However, last run I did on the quarter mile I was doing 11.8 @ 98mph. But think about what my speed would be with stock wheels.

Oh, and about my electrical system, I'm running a constant 15.2-15.5 volts. I also have to run Premium fuel with two octane boosters if not I get some horrible pinging.

My buddies 1/4 mile was 12.6 @ 110.11 mph.

So 11.8 @ 98 don't add up for a 1/4 mile run.

So 11.8 @ 98 don't add up for a 1/4 mile run.

It could make sense if his acceleration was ridiculous and then he just stopped gaining speed.

Wife's ride: 2009 C63 - Mid 12's @ 110 bone stock street tires off show room floor

My ride: 2004 CLK55 - low-mid 13's stock.... now has bolt-ons.... should be low 13's/high12's on street tires.... (mods: LSD, headers, Renntech CF air box, Tune, hi flow cats). I'm slowing modding my clk55 to catch the c63...... perhaps a kleeman will get me where I want to go

Yea, I'd like to see a time slip on that 11.8, either the DA and track were absolutely perfect, or this guy has a torque monster like no other. Regardless for how heavy the ride is and the low trap speed, that's moving. Most cars I've seen trap in the speed range run about 14s
