Truspeed have a smoking fast acquisition time, I was really impressed. I am wondering why very few police forces bought the Trucam. It is very helpful in court. Maybe because it is 8000$...

Several reason. The Trucam is illegal for use in many states such as Texas that ban camera devices from being used for speed citations. Truspeed as an enforcement tool sucks. Does not shoot though glass worth a flip & you have to find the reflective part of the car to get a fast lock. Not to mention it costs an arm & a leg. My Trupseed stays in the gun safe as the other stonger guns are much more fun to shoot.

So what if the officer uses moving radar and all the speeds are recorded on the dashcam, it is illegal to in those states?

Our Laser training is extremely strict on that point: DONT SHOOT THROUGH WINDOWS as it could affect the reading
