want an 8500 dont know why

I have a valentine one 1.7, and am very happy with it but i cant tell you why but i want an 8500. arg! is ebay an alright place to get one from or a retail store.

Don't buy used electronics from E bay that is where people dump problem stuff.
Buy one from Roy.

Not only are RD's off "thEbay" used, and sometimes abused (whereas Roys products are always new), if the RD should happen to fail on you Roy will take care of you, and on "thEbay" you will be SOL.

why not a X50 it does have alotmore range than the old8500 also keep that in mine. u will be upsett when you do findout that that your 1.7 beats the 8500.also i recommed to get a x50 from roy u just cant go worng with him

I like the orignal Passport 8500 (The highend Escort before they started selling the X50). In fact, I would rather use a Passport 8500 over an X50. It's one of my favorite detectors. I'm glad I got one and will never sell it.

happya$$ thinks I sleep with my 8500 because I like it so much.
