    Default x50 falls off mount

When I hit a large bump or turn my subwoofer up, my RD falls of its mount. There is a little play once the RD is slid on the clip. The suction cups stay on the windshield though. Also if its cold out the suction cups dont stick to the windshield that well, is there a better way for mounting?

Sounds to me like the Inner locking mechanism is broken.
When you take the detector down, do you push the little
black button ontop of the detector. If you've been pulling
it off the mount and not pushing the button you more
than likely broke the locking mechanism, this is what
locks the detector in place on the mount.

If the locking mechanism is messed up, the next best thing I can think of is to purchase some velcro and use the dash.

If the mechanism is fine and you want to fix the suction cups, a hardware store will have some suction cups.

I have been pushing the button to take it off. It has been like this since I got it but thought it was normal. I'm just tired of it falling or having to take it down when I want to play my system. I did purchase the 2 yr replacement plan when I bought it at best buy.

I would get it repaired or replaced. Sounds to me like the Locking
mechanism was broken before you purchased it.

By the way, you have to push the button to put it on as well.
If not, you'll wear down the Locking Pin.

I always push the button. I'm going by bestbuy to excahnge it for a new one under the replacement plan.
