Actually not sure about the new ones, but in times past, the RX65 seemed to have a bit better Ka band, the X50 had K-band on lock. (Though performance is very similar and the EXP mode is far superior, along with ramp-up).

The X50 will not let you down. Did you buy it new? If not I would do a full reset on it before using it.

Theres a few reasons why I'm not a V1 zombie, and one of them is because I own not one, but two Escort 8500 X50s.
