8500 X50 for $100. Worth it?

Saw it on CL tonight and emailed the guy. Said it was the X50.

Is it worth the $100 assuming I could get that back by selling my 8500?

It's the blue one, about a year old and it has the cord, mount and he said he was looking for the manaul and the receipt. No box.

I am not so hot on the ble display to be honest but who knows. From what I've read the X50 isn't a huge step up but a year old model isn't too bad. I will think about. It will probably sell by tomorrow.

I would say yes it's worth that. Check out Ebay, all X50's bring over 100. Even if you had to send it in for a check up. For another 60 dollars you will have a top of the line RD.

$100 is a bargain, send it in for a tuneup and you got yourself a great RD at a great price.

Thanks, guys. Yeah I emailed him back saying I want to buy it but can I paypal or mail you money lol. I was literally down the street from where the seller lives working on the car then went home so I don't really want to drive all the way back out there since it is a 45+ minute trip out there then to go back home. Blahhh. I'd spend a ton on gas and put a lot of miles on the car.

Hopefully we can work out a deal!

I recently got a x50 (red) for 150$ on CL, I'd say 100$ for a (presumed) working x50 in BLUE is an amazing deal.

Hell, I'd be almost tempted to buy it from you for 150$+shipping. :P (my friend is looking for a good RD in that range)

If I do go ahead and get it I will try it out and if it is the same as my regular 8500 then I may sell it. I will let you know!
