For those of you that run tech mode on your Bel or Escort products, please post the frequency that you're recieving for Ka band. I'm trying to gather what would be considered a typical amount of drift. I'll start off the list
35.510
33.800

Stalker Dual 34.746 GHz
I've seen Stalkers at 34.700 and 34.770.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!
If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?
Active Countermeasures: V1 3.858, Escort Redline, Beltronics STi-R+, LI Dual 7.1x CPU/8.7 Heads (front)
Other/Backup Countermeasures: V1 3.813 (loaned to friend), Beltronics Pro RX65 M4 6.3
Vehicle: 2002 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro
LEO Toys: Kustom Pro Laser II & III
Encounters/Saves August 2011: Radar 3/1, Laser 0/0
Have you seen multiple units running at 34.770, or just one?
Only one so far. The two freqs I posted are from the only 2 times I've encountered Ka in spec mode on my X50, so far.Originally Posted by compu44
Every other Ka I've encountered was in a mode other than Spec Mode, or on my V1, so I don't have the frequency.

Cool, thanks for the posts. If you spot any more, please do post.Originally Posted by kpatz

33.800 exact *yeah I dropped the F bomb when I saw that number.
I have stoped using tech mode, and am using threat level warning to tell me if I am approaching and leaving the scene of a LEO. So I have forgotten my list of frequencies :-(
Would be good to see if I can turn Accusweap ON to quicken the sweap rate and avoid wasted time through the whole superwide Ka abnd.
Good topic!
The 34._07 would have been 34.707. Keep in mind that 33.800 doesn't necessarily mean that you're coming up on a BEEIII, but just a Ka radar by MPH industries. Might be a killer BEE, might not be.Originally Posted by amoney

I keep a record of all hits. I run International Mode, so the detector is open to all Ka frequencies. I underline the confirmed LEO sources. These are all confirmed with direct eyeball contact. Here goes...

The repeat hits were not always from the same LEO or department. The 33 stuff was from FHP and my local PD. The 35 stuff was a couple of different SO cars in different counties. The vast majority of hits are FHP from Ft. Lauderdale to Sebastian (also out to Lake Harbor, Pahokee, Okeechobee, and Yeehaw Jct. FL)

I have other lists with older dates. Got to fine them!
