Default Is there a way to silence falses with X50

I had a bel 985 till it got stolen and now I have a X50 and have turned x band and pop off but it goes off like crazy near stores like Target or Walgreens with K Band and my 985 never did that. Changing to Auto or City doesnt change. Is this suppose to happen? Thanks...

It picking up the k band doors causing the falsing. Since your 985 was less sensative on k-band this was not an issue. auto and City modes work well to quiet x-band around town but does not quiet down k band. Sorry but I cant think of any way to quiet those k-band doors down.

If your 985 didn't alert to these doors, it was busted. The 985 was S7 based, so it should have been plenty sensitive on K band.

If you had the old-school vector 985, it's autoscan mode was the best non-GPS filter system I have ever seen. (wish I still had mine)

It ignored weak X and K band signals, yet seemed to pick up K-band LEO's very well.
