Can anyone confirm or deny this RUMOR?

I noticed an earlier thread where someone had stated that they had heard a rumor about a supposed 8500x50 plus coming out that was supposedly better on K band than the existing 8500x50. Anyone heard anything on this one?

I can absolutely confirm that this is not true. We have a X50 tune-up promotion but that does not involve boosting sensitivity unless your X50 is out of tune.

So...It would appear the RedLine is more or less an STi Driver? How do they get better detection out of the M3 antenna? Firmware? and if so, will Bel offer an update?

Upgraded LNAs in the horns, and possibly other hardware and software tweaks.

STi and Redline only use the same antenna (with the same LNAs) but the rest of it is different. Redline is more similar to the 9500ci than the STi Driver which was the first M3 product that we released several years ago, man time flies...

Your saying that both detectors use the SAME LNAs? Every add I've seen classify them as NEW. Or did you mean to Say the same as whats in the STI-r......if in fact those are any different than the STI-d?

Yeah the X50 plus I posted about was with out doubt the x50 Euro.. See A radar broker over here is going to repackage it as a X50 plus. Here we have Ka cop cars and camera vans that run redflex 24.100 GHz only. So what's this dudes gonna do is sell this x50 Euro as a x50 plus I'm sure he will make out it made for our market only etc. Thanks for the info even thou it's in another thread.

Yeah. I'd like to see this one cleared up as I'm thinking of an STi to replace my RX65, the RX being worth squat against the DPS Redflex units here in AZ.

What would make the Escort M3 better than the Bel M3? If there's no diff, maybe I should wait for the STi "Bel out of business" blow out sale.

If Escort is making a better M3, then my five c notes should go there instead.
