Database question

I have a 9500ci that came with 3 yrs database and a 9500ix that has an expired database. Do I need two separate databases or can I just use the one for both? When both were active it was the same download, just twice.

hi well as for the location database its the same for both the 9500ix and 9500ci
you need to download the database once and you can update both radar detectors as long as you have a valid subscription for one of them

I only use one subscription to update all of my 9500s.
