I like that a lot, might have to pick one up and try it out!

Took long enough, I was thinking since GPS has those types of cups, it wouldn't be long when the detector companies would have them too.

They want 20 bucks for it, for a 500 buck detector it should be free.

Can't wait to try it on a motorcycle... I already use the same thing with the detectors on-top of a mounting platform... this should be nice to secure it instead of Velcro-lock and rubber-bands.

My main concern is mounting angle(s)...

If you get one and put it on your motorcycle, please let me know how it works. I am really iffy about putting a suction cup on mine.

    Why?

I just twisty-tie the Cord (phone-line) to the cross member support for the windscreen, and thus even if it falls it won't go anywhere, and thus: won't break because its locked in via the RJ-Jack. . I have used RD's via suction-cups on there for years... even the regular old mounts that come standard with the units.

Now I feel dumb , can't believe I never thought about doing that, makes a lot of sense. LOL thanks for the info, can't wait for warm weather to come back, so I can take my bike out now
