Get used to it is all I can say. It will be the same on KA band also. Mine took a front and a rear shot as I passed a LEO in OKlahoma, on KA band 34.7 and I swear mine was asleep. YEEAAWWNN.

Radar detector is a mini computer, and the more you have it do the more it has to think.

Were you running your V1 when this happened? If not how did you know for a fact you were targeted. Were you ticketed?? Not picking at you, I'm just curious that's all.

Yes I did get a ticket, and went to court on it actually trial with the LEO there. He told me and the court what he did. I was running the 9500ix at that time and that is when I decided it was time for a change. He told me he "hit me with the front antenna and then the rear". That was all the tracking history he needed, LOL. So much for the "standard traditional tracking history" that "CJR238" speaks of in re-guards to Escort products. This is the New and Improved tracking history. Q/T hit with front antenna, and as you pass by a hit with Q/T rear antenna, all with 9500ix being quiet.. And one hell of a ticket.

Ya this was one of the conclusions SS and i discussed in another thread. QT multiple times to give a tracking history. Though not by the book certainly plays on words good enough for court.

But then again i would slow down passing a LEO weather my RD went off or not.
