    Default Question on the 9500ix

Is there a way to set the speed trap distance longer? I mean 1100ft going 80+ on the freeway is a joke for a warning...

Escort is against users making meaningful adjustments, so they don't allow it. They would also have to reprint manuals.

Don't get me started on the warning distance for RLC 99.9% of the time I see the RLC sign first before my ix even alerts me and I dare to say in some areas I don't even get an alert where RLC's are located.

In detection it still works for me so not too much to complain, but somethings could be fixed if they want to fix them.

Yes it is worth it to drive in the city with the ix very accurate and quite.

Ka band alerts I hardly ever get any false alerts if I had to do a ratio out of 10 I would say only 1 false alert.

K band is a different story I get more false alerts, but no big deal.

My modes are X off, pop off, h mode, expert meter, auto learn off, true lock off I think is the same as auto learn off, but I might be wrong, because I hardly mess with the settings.

I have my ix mounted LRVM hardwired.
