SUV Radar Windshield Mount High or Low?

I just bought an 2011 Nissian Pathfinder. I am swapping out my Escort 9500i into the new jeep just for testing. As far as I know in a car radars should be high and in SUV's radars should be mounted lower closer to the dash board. I could be wrong but I was just checking to make sure. Am I right or wrong?

Note that the hood does not slope downward, its a straight flat hood.

The higher the better for RADAR detection.
I drive a 2010 Tundra.

Higher for better radar performance but the difference, especially in an already tall SUV, isn't going to be much. Mount it where a) it gets a good GPS signal (clear view of the sky) and b) where you are comfortable with using it.
