Replacing speaker in 8500 X50?

Okay. Let me start off by saying that I am new to this forum. I just bought myself an x50 off ebay. I haven't received it yet. One thing that I have heard is that for some people, the speaker isn't loud enough. That will be an issue for me considering I always listen to loud music. I was thinking about going to radio shack and getting a cheap speaker and replacing it. Is this possible? Have any of you ever did that?

Before you spend money on a speaker, go into the programming and set the sound to loud. This is loud enough for me in my soft-top Jeep, so may work for you.
