I've had a lot more success out of HID's than regular lights. When I had my 03 EVO , I bought the Japanese conversion kit, and some incredible HID's. They where so bright you couldn't even tell I had VEIL on the car.

I was hoping, from The VEIL Guy's earlier reports, that light-output would be less affected than with the G2.

Your thoughts?
He didn't say it wasn't less than G2. He just said it was (still) considerable. Which is not surprising.

^ Good read.

The VEIL Guy - For the optical clarity improvements, alone, I'm more than willing to give G4 a shot, to at least see how it goes.

possibly. maybe we can do a group buy per can? get 3 people to buy into one can, use what you need then mail it on to the next guy. if it works and you like it, then you could order your own the next time it comes around.

Ugh, you have no idea how thrilled I was when I turned on my new Honda's lights/highbeams. My Grand Prix's haze was absolutely horrid. I think my normal lights now are brighter than the highbeams on that damned thing.

As for Veil, I know its applied to the headlights (from this rather obvious set of pictures), but what about tail lights? I assume LEOs don't aim laser at tail lights then? Hm.. confused!

For the group buy, I'd totally be in, gotta save money to buy the next latest and greatest gadget! I'm in southern NC, close to the SC border.

Veil on Taillaights among others. It's often discussed here, and haven't heard anyone complain of a down-side. I've seen tail lights on the road that made me wonder if they were Veiled because of the smokey look they had.

Although rear shots are a very real danger, I agree that the tail lights are probably not often (if ever) the targets, since most all cars will have a licence plate on the rear. Not to mention that they simply would not have near the reflective qualities of headlamps.

Yes their reflective qualities are not near those of the front headlamps. BUT, they are much better than the headlamps due to their reflectors!!

If you put a Lasershield on your rear plate, you could eliminate the reflection from that, but a LEO tagging you could still get a return off your taillights...so probably Veiling them would be helpful.
