How is it going fellow fanatics?

I got my first RD (Radio Shack X/K) back in 1984 or so. This was after seeing my friend have a BEL radar detector. Since then, I have been hooked on RD's and the technology.

I am not a heavy speeder...more of the guy that likes to go with the flow.

Only ONE speeding ticket (knock on wood!) in my driving career since 1982. That came in 1990 (or so) in Indiana in Gary by cop using Vascar. At that time I had a BEL. Not that it mattered with Vascar!

I have tons of videos on here of my V-1 in action. Some are quite impressive!

The fine lady in my pic is my girlfriend who loves my V-1, too!

The last time i ran into xband was, heck, 8-9 years ago in Kalkaska County. But I think Alpinestars (in the Rose City area) has encountered some xband on the E.SE. side of the state. Not 100% sure about that. I always keep xband ON because ya just never know what a local p.d. will introduce back into the system xband.

My 720 is pretty good. I give it 8 stars out of 10. It is simple to use.....but even with a couple of map (expensive) upgrades, it still does not have the road where my GF lives in the U.P. (the road is in the Soo city and about 3 years old!)...also my brother lives in TX out in the country and my 720 still does not have the road there.

I know nothing is perfect, just like RD's, but I wish it was more complete.

Really? I live in Sout east Michigan in Plymouth. Got maybe a Very light coating but thats it. didn't stick to the Pavment just Grass.
