Welcome to the forum. So you have a V1, and you are thinking about buying a Redline to replace it? What city/area do you live in, and do you have a laser jammer yet?

so I get zapped with x and laser --- lots of x (nj)

but they have me hooked on " less falsies -- which while I have the utmost respect for Valentine 1 -- can give you a good headache -- but has served me well over the past 6 years and with with all the software upgrades

but I dont run red lights

so if I can get similar distance I would give up the arrows for noise

but If Redline is weak on the Laser

well Im stumped )) I need Input

    Tks

Redline will false a lot too. What about a 9500ix for you?

Don't worry about laser detection. I compare it to having a buzzer when your airbags airbags are about to go off.

Simple. Just get a Cheetah 100 or mirror. Will give you the additional options to get rid of the noise. Meanwhile, adjust the V1 to mute weak K signals, and if you want, you can also cut the x on the V1. Both the Redline and the V1 are next to useless for laser. Keep what you have but tweak it.

It will false a lot less. It sounds like you really value peace and quite in the car and are willing to give up arrows for it. The Redline will be in the same neighborhood of chattiness as the V1 if not worse.

I tested my V1 for a couple of weeks. It was very annoying with all the false beeps. In some cases I would get 4 or 5 false beeps on one intersection.

I have a Escort 9500ix on the way to be tested. I chose it because of the GPS and the redline doesn't have. JMHO

    Happy hunting ... Ben, OH
