VG-2 is an old mostly obsolete type of radar detector detector. It has been replaced by other products such as spectre and vg-4. Do you want to intro yourself with a bit more depth?

My whistler 550 said VG2 a lot too. The funny thing was it would always do it an intersection near the Highway Patrol's HQ.

A entirely useless feature marketed by Cobra, used to increase their band detection count in their 6-15 band models.
