What's that going to do? Spectre won't care how far back you have your RD mounted. Spectre can detect that radar antenna at like 2000ft.

Since I'm only halfway through the install, I can put everything back in the box nicely and sell it. I've only mounted one laser shifter and the radar unit so far.
I'll upgrade to the 9500ci or STi-r.
Someone in BC or elsewhere where they are legal will want it.
From what I've read, both are about equally advanced and immune to the same level of spectre (level IV?). They seem like my only two choices; I need something remote or mounted into the dash.
How much of my $500 do you think I'm going to see for it?
Thanks guys, it's better than getting pulled over for it.
Pulled a few sites and our police are active and always have sleeper spectre cars roaming. Damn.

Welcome aboard.
The 240Zs were awesome! I'd like to see pics when you are able!
Sorry to say, but if you're on a paycheque to paycheque budget, you're probably completely out of luck in Canadia. The very minimum you're going to get out for on a detector that is stealth will be around $500 dollars.
And Veil is completely useless without a competent jammer, which will cost you another $400 minimum, just to protect your front end. Don't waste any money on Veil or other passive countermeasures until you have spent money on a competent jammer. The ZR3 is not a competent jammer.
