    Default Cameron in California

Hi everyone! Just joined this forum, but have been using my V1 for about a year and a half...mostly on long distance drives between Norcal and Socal on Highway 101. Looking forward to discussing with fellow enthusiasts!

Ug! How can you stand driving on the 101? Traffic through SB is an absolute nightmare! No need for an RD in that area!

Welcome to the club. HWY 101 - my favorite digs. Tons of radar, and sometimes (around San Ardo to about 10 mi south of Soledad) they run aircraft, so the detector won't help. Just watch for the high wing Cessna that says "HIGHWAY" on one wing and "PATROL" on the other.

Thanks for the kind welcome! I hear you about SB...definitely true, so my main region of concern is the stretch of 101 from Soledad, through King City, to San Ardo. i.e. Monterey County. Almost every time I drive it, V1 manages to find 2-5 Stalkers on overpasses or oncoming lanes... but it is the plane that has me concerned. I have never personally encountered it, but can you tell me if the pilots fly low enough that it is easily noticeable to an average driver? Nice shot btw.

Welcome I used to live in the OC! The 405 is also allot of fun with all the traffic.
