Hello from central New Jersey
Hi all, nice to see so many knowledgeable folks here.
I have a BEL 975 remote radar detector and a Blinder M20 that was purchased back in '03, and have worked well, but suddenly malfunctioned and started alarming every second. The manual troubleshooting guide indicates that this could be the connection to the antenna sensor being disengaged, but when I took it to 2 separate professional installation centers, they both said that there were no wires that were out of place or sensors disengaged.
They, of course, wanted me to purchased a newer model that they would gladly install for me, but this unit cost me a pretty penny back in the day, and always performed fine and I do not want a new one unless this one is unrepairable.
I have not contacted BEL yet, but does anyone have any suggestions?
