    Default Hi from NW Indiana

Hi all, just joined today because I'm considering buying a RD. Got my first ticket about a month or so after getting my license, and I sure learned a lesson there. That was last year, and now as it gets closer to summer again, I see more and more cops hiding out there. Since our speed limits are all such jokes, I need to do something about it. I'm tired of driving 30 on a straight road with no houses, no intersections, and no traffic. Hopefully I can learn something from you guys

You have joined a great site for RD's and most things related.

I went through the similar pain way back in yesteryear w/my 1st ticket, and that's what led me to buy my 1st RD.

I picked up several tickets in that area several years ago, including two speeding tickets on the same road on back to back days. When the officer approached, he said, "did I not just give you one yesterday?" What could I say? This is a good site with lots of information as I have been looking around.

Good luck I just moved away from South Bend the ISP on the toll road are tough. They use alot of moving I/O Ka band 35.5 and 33.8. All my videos on my YouTube site except the two most recent ones are from NW IN. Watch a few it will show you what your up against, and the tactics they like to use. You will need a top notch RD, I would get a Redline or a V1.

Rocky2 - thank you for the information. It will be useful in my monthly trips to my parents in Munster.
