Welcome aboard. What does your own experience with your radar detector tell you about what bands are in use by LEOs? Canada is a big place, where are you primarily driving?

Maybe this will help....Radar Bands By Town - updated 05/18/2010

If I lived anywhere in Canada (even in areas where they were legal)... I would look towards the new M3 Belscorts which are Spectre-Proof, and have better detection, namely the Redline.

Welcome. I'd look at getting the LI or Blinder to help prevent any accidental laser tickets.
