Hello everyone. I joined the forum to learn about radar/laser detection and defeat. I participate annually in a 350 mile event on public roads and want to find the best way to protect myself from speeding tickets. I own a V1 and an Escort ZR3. I am driving a modified 1967 MGBGT and was wondering if the Veil system is something I should apply to my vehicle. Also, my car is White, would I benefit from painting the frontal and rear flat Black or is that just silly?

I would definitely buy a can of Veil. Painting the front and rear would help actually but it's up to you if you care more about the appearance of your car or your performance against police laser. Obviously, white is one of the worst colors when going up against police laser. Mind posting a pic of your jammer install? You can attach pictures.

I would also think about a different jammer than the ZR3. It is the weakest system out there.

If you ever make it over the Dacula way let me know. I'll be happy to test your system if I'm around.
