^ people still run them in illegal states. Just slow down and turn them off ASAP and you will be fine.

Oh. who would've figured. I do not speed recklessly. If at all, its with traffic. I'm just sour about how my brother got pulled over for going barely over when a Coach Bus was going 15 over. Cop picked up my brother and not the Coach bus.

    Thanks for update though.

No for the Chicago area you got #1. I used to go to Chicago a few times a month when I lived in South Bend. And my V1 was anoying as he!!. And with all the RLC's in the Chicago area the 9500ix comes in handy. Now you do need a laser jammer also. IL's jammer law is a joke they can't even pull you over if they think you jammed them they have to have another reason. And if they do write you a ticket it's $50 and the second offense is $100. A lot cheaper than a ticket.

^i just looked up the law for Illinois, and it basically says what you said. If I get pulled over for speeding per say, and the cop thinks i have a jammer, how does he confirm it? The law states he is not allowed to search my vehicle for Jamming equipment.

okay so I'm trying to hardwire my 9500 in and its kind of playing with me.

Problem: When connecting ground and suitable power source, my escort does not turn on. I connected to the same sources i used for my Cobra, and found no problem with ground or power coming from each.

I'm using an "add a circuit" connection to my empty slot in my fuse panel (i have a feeling this is where my problem is) and a 2AMP fuse in the slot. Any idea why my hardwire isn't working? I have the DirectWire SmartCord offered from Escort.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
