    Default Anther new guy in Houston

    I moved to Houston from OKC a few months ago and travel back and forth a lot. I have always been an avid radar detector user and a Valentine One fan but now Redline fanatic but still use my Valentine One along with it. The Redline is the first detector I have ever owned that beats the Valentine on Ka hands down! I have tested it against the X50 (sold it) and 9500 original. (returned it).
    I drive an Escalade so I am worried about laser since I often encounter it in Texas especially driving through Dallas. Specifically right before you enter South Dallas. My plan is to buy Veil and a Blinder M47. What do you think?
    FYI I haven't had a speeding ticket in 10+ years. I drive on average 30k + year. I love the cat and mouse game but don't speed much above 10. I also haven't had an accident in 10 years or ever when using a radar detector.

    Welcome to the forum. What part of Houston are you from? Blinder M47 with veil is a good choice but I would go with the regular LI Dual instead. It is cheaper and I have observed thru testing that it is a better performing laser jammer system. There's a large laser jammer testing group in Houston so when you get your jammer installed, you can have it tested at the next Htown jammer meet.

    woooo!!! HOUSTON welcome to the forum .. you have some good history with RD's
    theres a lot of chrome on an escalade but LI dual may suffice

    Welcome to the forum. I drive a '08 Dodge Ram, Silver, big chrome grill and I JTD'd (Jam to Gun) everything last HTown Jammer meet. I have the LI Dual, BTW. Just to give you an idea on how the LI Dual performs.

    Most on the forum recommend the LI for laser, it is the best jammer on the market today.
