first LI save!

i have V1 stealth mounted with remote display and it has saved me 50 million times. had the LI installed on my s5 last sept, but i never had it go off. until today!

state trooper (which i RARELY see using laser) on 71 prob 10 miles from 45 toll road outside of austin hidden in trees and bushes. i mean really hidden. valentine goes crazy, LI goes off, I just hit the brakes and turned off LI. i was totally expecting trooper to come get me, but he didn't! it would have been a big ticket! LI paid for itself!

Nice! From what I have seen, TX DPS rarely uses laser. Their preferred weapon of choice is I/O Ka 34.7 but they do sometimes run laser:

he was on 71 on the right side off the road (maybe 10-15 feet), but he was completely hidden in the trees. i'm talking about trees and branches covering his car like camo. it was the most hidden car i've seen.

anyhow i forgot what gun it was. i was too excited and focused on slowing and shutting it off.

I still remember my first one over 2 years ago here. I'm not surprised you didn't get to ID the gun, even with the LI's voice alert. The first save always scares the $hit out of you when it happens .
