    Default Laser Interceptor acting weird

Just a question when my LI starts up in the morning it starts beeping as if there was something in front of the heads(sensor mode) but nothing is there( even parked the car away from the garage ). Never did that in the past wondering if the cold is effecting the head. I cleaned the heads and it still does it half the time. BTW the heads are 8.7's ... I hope the heads are still fine any thoughts.

I'm sure Cliff will give you a more detailed answer... but to sum up what he is most likely going to say...

    Ghosts.

There have been many reports of apparitions activating the parking sensor mode erratically. It is related to the Perspex Black 962, the visible light filtering plastic on the front of the diode. There was a horrible accident at one of the Perspex factories one day, resulting in the death of many workers. A batch of Perspex from that factory made it into the LI diodes, specifically the 8.7s, and they have been doing similar things ever since.

There's a spell that can be said to put the apparitions to rest, I'll have to get out one of my old books though. Hopefully Cliff will beat me to it. There are ghosts of spiders in my attic, and therefore I hate going up there.

Same here, cold weather makes electronics do wacky things, ill even get a bad connection alert if the interior of the car is really cold.

That's because your blinder is ALWAYS working at less-than-adequate parameters.
