Going by the colors is not the proper way to re-crimp the RJ11 6J6C connectors on the Sensors. There is a smooth side, top and a rough seamed side, bottom to the CAT5 cable. The smooth side, top, corresponds to the locking tab on the RJ11 connector and the rough side, bottom, to the conductor side. DO NOT go by the colors of the wires. This is an error made by many. Incorrectly performed, this may damage the sensor when powered on and cause the LI, and any other device sharing power on the 12V tap, to cycle off.

Yeah this is why I never ****ed with crimping any of the wires. In reality its simple to do, but if I don't do it thats one less thing to go wrong.
