I haven't seen any directions or how you should connect. Do you fully unplug the LI Module from the car? I did, and it keeps asking for me to turn it on.

Unplug the heads but keep the power connected.

I take my laptop out to the car with the software loaded and the USB/serial adapter cable installed and ready. I connect and power up the LI as per starting the car and it seems to work OK for me.
No problems so far getting the two to communicate. I had installed the cpu so that I could get easy access to the port (if/when there are any software updates).
