it doesnt matter what gun it is...it only matters PPS....so lets hope a fix is made cause a few states around here use 100PPS UL

Yes it does! Cause if you make an algoritham for UL then it will cause an error on European gun And if it's made for european gun (TraffiPatrol) then it will discard UL. Tested! AL doesn't make a sound when it's hit with ULOriginally Posted by stalker
hmm....
Somewhere I read that AL set their units for the country they are sent to. If true, then the guns that are imported to the U.S. will not be jammed? On a global economy scale this cannot be good.
Interesting.
hmm..i doubt that...its just a look up table...
But in the US this isn't really a bad thing. I don't think we have that gun. I know that the area around me uses UL but they can all be jammer right? They noramly use UL LR B.
thanks

It was one of the past posts on this Forum, I believe it to be regarding the AL G8 / LTI UltraLite jamming (or lack thereof) issues, which stemmed from a South African enthusiast who noticed that his AL G8 did not jam the LTIs. AL later released a statement confirming that different models were shipped to different geographic regions, based on anticipated threats.

^ Above is a secondary reference (with dead internal reference link), but the story bears-out upon further searches.
I seriously DOUBT that AL send different models to different countrys...sounds like bullocks to me
^ Dunno...the primary source was the AL rep at the time, it would be hard to refute.
However, whether or not they've, since then, changed their practices, that's a wildcard.
