Default Laser Jammers and legality in all states in the U.S.A.

Laser Jammers in the U.S.A and legality has now come into question...This has totally now become a grey area. As ir light is in the elctromagneticspectrum. The electromagneticspectrum is specifically controlled by the FCC guys! YES FCC! NOT FDA! This means a ban is highly possible federally, although has not happened just yet. The FCC has the rights to everything within the electromagneticspectrum, IR Light falls into this catagory. Meaning that to have a laser jammer it has to be licensed by the FCC, now that FCC licensing has to be specificly licensed, meaning it has to be licensed for its specific use through the FCC, I can guarentee these Laser Jammer companies are not licensing there jammers to JAM police speed measuring equipment, I doubt they would be that BOLD! Meaning we are all running illegally licensed FCC hardware! YES ILLEGAL! This was recently brought to my attention by my best freind who runs www.m-33access.com a internet service provider that designed the ups signing you do every day! He is a very smart guy and designed wifi internet as well! He recently informed me of this today. This could pose some potential issues guys! As it seems these devices are very very iffy on the legality now.

For more info on this subject feel free to pm me I would gladly explain.

    Default Now..

Now..I have just spoken to jimbonz about this and he claims that they controll up to 300ghz..? I would like to see this in black and white personally. I just want some hard evidence from the FCC's web page on this. As i need to be able to cut and paste this to my freind for him to beleive they are legal.. Although how can the FCC be limited in what they can controll in the electomagneticspectrum? When I was just told today by a guy that deals with this stuff every day of his career that they have total controll of the electromagneticspectrum, and if you don't beleive that he said to look to www.fcc.gov

You worry too much. Police laser is regulated by the FDA. Here are some documents I just found.

    Default Jim has shed more..

Jim has just shed some more detailed light on this stealth.. here is some more info .. to discredit this guy.. I shall be emailing this guy these documents.. for sure!! LOL go JIM rock on to the professor!

Check out what Jim sent me on this stealth i think you'll find it quite interesting..? Why doesn't the FCC Govern over 300ghz though is the question? Not that I mind! LOL I like it this way! We can use our laser jammers this way LOL .

    47CFR15.3

"(u) Radio frequency (RF) energy. Electromagnetic energy at any frequency in the radio spectrum between 9 kHz and 3,000,000 MHz."

    http://a257.g.akamaitech.net/7/257/2.../47cfr15.3.htm

Here's where a company notified the FCC that they intended to use optical inter-satellite links. The FCC said:

"Optical beam communications are not considered a type of radio communication since they operate at frequencies above 300 GHz, and they are not within the jurisdiction of the Communications Act."

    http://www.fcc.gov/Bureaus/Internati...1/da011694.txt

You can also find a perfect example where they talk about it in one of the FCC vs RMR docs:
    http://www.fcc.gov/Bureaus/Complianc...7/fcc97404.txt

    Default I totally agree..

I totally agree Jim and this is what i told the guy, but he continued to tell me that it was under the electromagneticspectrum regulations of the FCC, so I decided to double and triple check myself before handing out non-valid information to a motorist. Thanks very much to Jim and stealthjamal for the information conveyed in this post and the speed of the responses can this post please be locked now..

It probably is somehow related to April
Otherwise, every TV remote etc. would need FCC permission.
IN FACT, every light bulb would need one too 8)

Very true. This post was not intended to be a joke, nor prank only an information gatheing tool on this subject of the electromagneticspectrum.
