No it was there I posted it
See the difference between the detection ranges it has to do with head design. The LPP has a large domed collector inside the head and 1 very directional laser diode so the head can stay small and it doesn’t interfere with itself kind of like feedback when using a microphone.
The blinder on the other hand uses leds they disperse light in many different directions. The sensing diodes on the inside of the head have little metal pieces to cover up the sides to keep this feedback from happening, but in doing so you loose surface area to detect.
The LI has a LARGE dome outside of the head I bet it’s a good performer because it can SEE so well with that large convex lens. It will allow IR light in from many directions.

With active jamming (not brute force) you have to be able to see the signal to transmit a corresponding jamming sequence it cannot make up its own or a PT will occur.
That is why having no feedback and being able to see the signal is detrimental to successfully jamming a gun.
Does it make the Blinder a bad unit no. It jams guns very well! The software is great!!
It merely has a smaller detection radius due to head design.

Shoot the plate below the head JTG every time!
So know in your area if they are taking these close in shots mount them closer to target areas and maybe invest in another head and spread them out a little. Also keep in mind the average Cop will take a center mass shot at all ranges, so you should have enough time to slow down anyway. (if not Blinder has a ticket rebate program).
Lets face it its hard to JTG a lot of today’s vehicles out there because they are so darn
Reflective just know that the 18” rule is only in effect for 1000 feet.
On my vehicle an m-25 installed correctly is just fine for today’s 3rd Gen guns for a JTG
on a small car But a Lincoln Navigator no, you will need 3 maybe 4 heads.
