M40 vs. 2-head LI?

I'm exploring the possibilities of convincing the wife to get a jammer.

I found a site that apparently still sells the M40 - about 618 bucks total. I've read on here that the M20/M40 seem to perform better in real world than the M25/M45, so I'm basing this on that.

The question is, for like 650 if I recall correctly, I can get a LI, although with only two heads.

I realize that the current belief seems to be that LI is good - however, would the 4 heads of the M40 outweigh it by providing rear protection as well?

I'm looking at the GOL testing, and am still not sure, sadly :?

From distance, a single head should be able to jam "Most" guns to minimal PT distances. One head = great protection. 2 heads = total immunity. I'm glad I havent bumped to into IO radar here in New England.

Wow, that'd be pretty funky. I hope GoL tests that whenever they do their retail thing. I can't help but think that would only work on specific vehicles, like black, curvy smaller ones - and even then, I wonder if the headlights would get punchthrough at some point.

Of course, if the whole point is just to give yourself a couple hundred feed to slow down...
