    Default Which Jammer in F250?

I am looking at installing a jammer in a 2008 F250, but I can't decide which one would offer the best coverage for me. I am considering the following:

    1. Blinder 45
    2. LI Dual

    My questions:
    A) Has anyone had any experience installing one of these on such a large vehicle?
    B) Where should I mount the heads (I can't post pics yet, I don't have enough posts)
    C) If I got the Blinder 45, should I put all 4 heads on the front? or 2 front and 2 rear?
    D) If I chose the LI Dual, I would add 2 more heads later when I can afford it.

Also, my F250 is dark blue, with dark blue bumpers and dark blue grill. In addition to the headlights and fog lights, there are clearance lights across the top (like on a semi), would these be an easy target?

Please give me any advice, thanks!

I have the 4 head blinder with Veil on the headlights of my F-150. It gives me ticket saving performance but not JTG performance. I have no chrome on the front and no lights on top. You might want to think about the 2 head LI and I would Veil those lights on top either way. That a big distance for any jammer to protect.

Thanks for the info, I don't have any chrome on the front. I was worried about the lights on top being a target, the veil is a great idea. Along with the LI or 45 I am getting ready to install my BCT15 scanner and Midland CB that I took out of my Jeep when I sold it. I should be good to go on the comms front, just worried about the laser stuff. Also, my V1 should be here by wednesday.

    Thanks again! Any others?

I was thinking of another solution to the clearance lights... they make smoked lenses for them, would that help with them not being able to be shot? Thanks!

M45 with VEIL would cover your front end only. A LI dual will cover your front end as well

    a) Yes Category4, outrun, ELVATO, RadarRoy all have experience with the M45 on large vehicles

b)Yellow or Red for Blinder M45, With such a large front end make sure you purchase VEIL to go on your head and fog lights
    Green for Laser Interceptor

C)You would need 4 heads up front
    d) Yes you can add heads later to the rear when you can afford it. LI DUAL should be enough to cover you from frontal laser attacks

    Food for thought:
    Blinder M45 + VEIL Stealth Coating + 2x LaserShields;Combo package Total = $719.99 (link)
you are going to need Veil to get the most ouf of you M45, you mostlikely can get away without it you went the LI route.

Laser Interceptor Dual will most likely still offer better performance for $700 so $20 less

    the choice is yours

    crazyVOLVOrob,

Thanks for all of the information, that is exactly what I was looking for. I am figuring that I want to go the LI Dual way since it is less stuff I will have to put on my rig, plus i'm not too big on putting anything over my lights. Then on down the road I will put 2 more sensors on the rear, probably on top of the hitch. Once I get the V1 hard mounted this week and the BCT15 and CB installed I will post up the pictures. Thanks for all the input again!

Now, to guarantee the performance of a dual LI on that truck, you want to test it... otherwise you'd never know.

Yes testing is imperative to figure out where your weak points are and how good your installation is.
