Default SoCal Jammer Test - March 20

I am thinking about renting a lidar gun to test my Blinder M47 in about a month. I have recently located to the Riverside County, CA area and would be testing there. I am a former LEO and certified to use radar and laser. I am looking at renting a newer Stalker as it seems to be a more powerful gun with greater "punch through" potential. If anyone is interested in having a former traffic officer test their detector/jammer set ups, please let me know. I am not out to make any money but it would be really cool if people who want to test could chip in for the lidar rental. Thanks,

I'd probably be up for that. I saw you need to send one of your heads back for replacement. I need to do the same first.

Just FYI but yes the Stalker has strong power but it is not one of the guns to be worried about anymore with the new Blinder. If you want to test for weaknesses rent a LTi because they are such narrowed beamed it will find if your Blinder set-up has detection weaknesses.

I will be using a generic brand K band handheld radar gun and as Mhardy suggested, the LTI. I just sent my bad head to Mhardy yesterday.

The best all around challenging gun to jam to me is the ultralyte. If you had to rent just 1 gun, that's the gun. If you want to have fun, get the PL3. easy to jam, easy to shoot, and can do some sick tricks that we discovered in south Florida meeting.

I'm game to participate, living near the 60 and 57 so not far. Just need to turn on the shifters for the test as, of course, I otherwise leave them off to obey state law. Running a SRX. But shouldn't you be using Laser Guns commonly used in California?

    From elsewhere on this site:

California - Pro Laser III, LTI Ultralyte, LTI TruSpeed, Stalker LZ1

Not sure which is the most common in So Cal (or drilling down further to the tri-counties), but which ever it is that would seem the way to go.

I was certified on the Ultralyte as an LEO so I will go that route...Can't go wrong if your set up can withstand this gun, it will be great with all of the others.
