If I were you, I wouldnt worry about the orange reflectors. I have them on my car in the same place, and just dont see how laser would be effective there.

I say Veil the screws too since it will require only a minimum amount of Veil and can only help not hurt.

Veil both the orange reflectors and screws what could it hurt. A $90 bottle of veil is better than paying for a $250 ticket. Thats what some people have forgotten on this website.

If he is coming at enough of an angle to show the orange reflectors, I would think his speed reading would be much slower than he really is going, it would be like a 45 degree angle, and that would cut his speed because he is traveling farther, never mind.... dont know how to say it.

At a 45 degree angle, the speed reading would be cos 45 * actual speed = .707 * actual speed. So if you're going 80 mph, the gun would read approx. 57 mph.

But, since the side reflectors are moving "sideways" since they're on the side of the car, a lidar reflection off the reflectors would not get a speed reading at all, unless the LEO kept the gun aimed spot-on to the reflector while it took the reading (at a straight enough angle), but even if he were that precise, the aforementioned cosine error would produce an inaccurate reading.

Therefore, I wouldn't bother with Veiling the side reflectors, unless they wrap around to the front of the car.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?
