Did Veil cause cracking?

I applied Veil to my 2009 F150 last night the temperature outside was 17 C within the temp's for applying Veil. But the temp dropped overnight and rained it was near freezing in the morning. The veil looked white, I removed the veil with Windex and then noticed the appearance of hairline cracking in the lense. I want to use veil again but i am worried about reapplying now. Is there anyway this is caused by veil?

Do I even need Veil I know with it I have JTG with current set up, without it I have no idea. Thoughts

Well I can narrow it down it was either Veil or Windex that caused the cracking now I will not use either. I am going to try to go back to the ford dealer and claim the lights cracked in the cold or something like that since the truck is under warranty.

I HIGHLY doubt it is from the cold. It could be from the windex. NEVER use an ammonia based product on anything plastic for the most part including window tint, paintball/skiing goggles etc.....

Isn`t ammonia one of the only things that remove veil

What should I tell Ford I know new lights will be quite pricey I want to try to get this covered through warranty since the truck is only three months old

I thought it was isopropyl alcohol, but I haven't had any first hand experience with veil.
