Default First officer ever to notice my veil

Went to our hood's boat ramp yesterday where we hire the local PD to do security. When he was checking my park pass he asked me about why my headlights were so dark, asking if they were tinted or paint. Told hime they are painted. He mentioned it was illegal & I could be fines. Told him I will have to take it off. Then went along with my business. (I was not fibbing. When I trade the truck in someday I will take it off.) First officer ever to notice my darker headlights, yet he never said a word about the 4 jammer heads in the grill.

ALWAYS good to live in a hood with a bunch of contract officers on payroll. They don't like to stir up the residents over pitty traffic stuff.

Does anybody know if Veil is illegal because of the darkening headlights. I live in Texas.

The bottom section outlines that it is illegal.

I'm not sure how much the citation would be but it's probably not too bad...not that I'm advocating breaking the law.
