    Default CT Drivers

Hey, i heard today while talking to a worker at a car audio store that a lot of the CT state police use X band on I95. I was wondering if anyone else can verify this for me and if its true for other areas in Ct as well. I dont want to turn of X band if this is true.

Haven't seen any X band on 95 or anywhere else in Fairfield county ever.

They use KA (Stalker DSR x2) or Laser (TrueSpeed) almost exclusively, and there are allot of X band drones to mess with us RD users on I95.
Though its pretty safe to say they don't use X band anymore it could be still used in more isolated areas.

CT has the money to burn, so they usually will have the best or newest.

Yeah, I haven't seen any X band in CT in recent years. It looks like they've made a massive transition to laser units.

Thanks everything he was saying seemed right, he said there are spots with camera heading south on 95, towards NY. However around East Lyme and north they have some k band. I figured i would check here to find out more, thank you for your help.

Exactly, no LEO's use X band on I95. KA & Laser only.

But you are correct there are a ton of X band drones on 95, which just piss us RD users off.
