Yes, it's used but not very much. Santa Ana and Orange PD use it for sure since I've had 2 K band tickets in those cities.Originally Posted by davemaster223

I run my Rd's with it off, makes for a nice quiet ride. Learn the cities it is used and run with it off. You could get nicked by k-band but odds are very slim if you only drive in areas it is not used.
