Wonder how long until someone vandalizes it.

They use to do something similar on I-294 here in IL. Everyday this cop car was sitting in the same place for like 3 weeks straight without a LEO in it. It was obviously there to make speeders think its a cop and to slow down. After being there for 3+ weeks, one morning there were 3 boxes of Dunkin Donuts stacked up on the hood of the car. The next day it was gone and hasn't been back. Funniest **** ever.
While funny, I'd hate to get used to the sign only to speed past it with a 'friend' standing behind it.
Great way to get the locals...
I remember seeing that car a few times, I thought it was parked longer then 3 weeks though.Originally Posted by AddictedToSpeed
It isn't a bad idea The police should put broken cars on the side of the highway and parked in the city it would cut down on speeding and more importantly cellphone and seat belt violators
When I was a kid, the state of Missouri used to have wooden cut-outs in the shape of patrol cars dotted along some highways. About the time you DIDN'T slow down upon seeing one, it was real.
You know, the title of this thread is a bit misleading:
"Stupid Cops.... cutout cops slowing speeders"
LOL, who are the stupid ones??![]()
